Sited on London's Serpentine Gallery lawn, this pavilion is a contemporary garden within the traditional garden of Hyde Park. Slip-cast ceramic components are woven together to serve as structural connectors, shading devices, and pots to hold local ivies. They structure the overall form but allow it to remain flexible. What begins as a spectacle of floating components in June transforms into a levitating garden as the ivy spreads through the pavilion during the summer months.
