Materials and processes within a cardboard tube container form its own container. The layering of the tube is separated into material layers. Its spiral ridges invoke those left in cement from sono tubes, the pulpiness of the cardboard transforms into the pulpiness of wood, and the metal ends become the innermost metal layer.
The container layers are then separated and create a conceptual memorial tower for an explosion. Located in the centre of an explosion crater, it in an enclosure with an interior spiral staircase. The visitor is compressed and then released into the midlevel viewing platform, on level with the crater edge. The highest accessible level is a platform with a view to the sky.
